ATAS offers excellent opportunities for winter sports. Central part of Serbia with its beautiful mountains and developed infrastructure is ideal place for skiing, hiking and other winter sports.
Kopaonik
Kopaonik, the most beautiful mountain of Serbia, is situated in its central part. Recently, it has become one of the most attractive ski centers in Yugoslavia. The highest peak of Kopaonik reaches to 2,017 meters above sea level. With some 200 sunny days a year, the blanket of snow stays on this mountain from November till May. The tourist facilities on the mountain have been built at an altitude between 1,620 and 1,770 meters above sea level.
Zlatibor
Coated in the eternal green of pine and fir trees, Zlatibor is attractive both in summer and winter months. Nature lovers can find their pleasures here the year round. It is accessible to winter holiday-makers all over the world.
Tara Mountain
Pleasant mountain with fresh air and excellent ski facilities. Many hotels with swimming pools and various indoor activities make Tara suitable for summer holidays too.
Durmitor
A national park with endless woods and an idyllic scenery with enchanting mountain lakes such as the Black Lake, Lake Zminje etc. The tourist centre of this national park is the town of Zabljak at 1,465 meters above seal level. Hotels, ski lifts and the rest of the infrastructure make the beautiful natural ground ideal for winter sports.
